Quiet time (no students) 11:45am to 12:25pm
- Unless eating with a student, it is suggested that guests wait until at least 11:00am to avoid the line.

Each day the cafeteria offers a variety of food choices that meet USDA School Nutrition requirements. Among these are whole grains, fruits, vegetables, low fat/no fat foods, low sugar and low sodium foods and foods that are baked instead of fried. More information is available at ChooseMyPlate.gov.
Breakfast includes a variety of hot and cold cereals, PB&J sandwiches, whole grain Pop Tarts, yogurt, milk, fruit and a different hot entree each day.
At lunch, students may choose from a variety of meals:
- Daily Hot Meal
- Baked Potato Meal (Grades 1-12, Tues and Thur)
- Breaded Chicken Meal (varies daily: nuggets, strips, rings, etc.)
- Nacho Meal
- PB&J meal
- Salad Bar (grades 1-12)
All meals include protein, grain, fruit/juice, vegetabls and milk. A variety of fruit and vegetables are offered daily so our customers may choose what they like.
In order to meet the requirement for the reimbursable meal program (free and reduced), a meal must include at least 3 items one of which must be a full serving of fruit and vegetables.
Cafeteria Account Payments
Payments may be made to the cafeteria using cash or check. Checks should be made out to Roxton ISD Cafeteria. A single check may be used for two or more students. Just include instructions on how the funds should be applied.
Funds may be placed on a student's account in advance.
MySchoolBucks.com will allow you to see your student's charges, purchases and receive email alerts. There is no charge for monitoring an account. You will need your student's ID number for the initial set up. If you provide the cafeteria with a valid email address, we will be happy to set up the account for you.
Cafeteria Charge Policy
Parents may apply for credit of up to $10.00 per student. As part of the application, parents must have a valid email address and will be set up with a free account at MySchoolBucks.com. They must agree to accepting low balance email notices. Students who have a balance due from the previous year, will not be allowed to charge. Snack items may not be charged.

Snacks may be purchased with cash and may NOT be charged. Students may use prepaid funds on account with a parent’s permission. Permission forms are available from the cafeteria and are sent home with students at the beginning of the school year.
Snacks that meet the USDA Smart Snacks requirements are available for purchase for grades 2 through 12. Snack prices range from 25c to $1.00 each.
Ice Cream Fridays – Grades Pk-1 may purchase ice cream (frozen treats) on Friday. Frozen treat prices are 50c, 75c and $1.00.

Free and Reduced Meal Program
Roxton ISD participates in the USDA Free and Reduced Meal Program. Forms and information are available below. A new application must be submitted each year. (Students who are direct-certified for benefits, will receive a letter at the beginning of the year and will not need to complete a form.)
