I attended J.L. McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas and graduated in 1980.
I attended both the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics - Operations Research and have a minor in Anthropology.
I am currently certified to teach 6 - 12 grade mathematics in Texas.
I have completed over 40 hours of graduate credit in the area of Intercultural Studies and have taught ESL in 4 different countries.
This is my 4th year in Roxton and I teach all of the high school mathematics courses.
I have taught in Greenville and Community schools before coming to Roxton.
One of the greatest impacts upon my teaching is my 15 years experience teaching internationally.
I have been happily married to Pam Simmons for the past 32 years.
We have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls and a dog named Meaghan and a cat, Miri.
I enjoy hunting, camping and outdoor cooking.
I try to stay fit by swimming laps at the YMCA.
