2nd & 3rd Grade Language Arts & Social Studies News
With Mrs. Wood
Mrs. Wood & Mrs. Dillard surprised 2nd & 3rd graders with a Fall Fun Day on Friday. The day began with pumpkin carving. After rotation students participated in stations using math, reading, language arts, technology, science and many skills to complete tasks around the Fall theme. We took an afternoon break and enjoyed Scary Puppies, then enjoyed punch and 5 Little Pumpkins Sitting on the Gate snack activity. This wonderful day was concluded with Margaret Valentine reading to the students. We all enjoyed a day of fun and learning. Please enjoy our pictures by following the link below:
This year is going so quickly. We have been busy, busy!
The students have just been great! We can get so much accomplished with such good behavior! Yay!

Please try to have your child/children in class as much as possible. If they leave early they miss a lot of teaching time. We are working on things they need to be a part of, in the classroom. Please help with this. I understand there are doctor’s appointments and things that can’t be helped, but there are times that the students could be in class.
I'd love to have parent's email addresses if you would like to join our classroom Facebook group. As many of you may know, I am the 2nd and 3rd grade English Language Arts & Social Studies Teacher at Roxton Intermediate this year. I think Facebook is a great way to share what is happening in our classroom. I hope you enjoy it, as well.
If you have any questions, please let me know. We will make this a great year as we work together for the children.
